Some impressions start falling apart after a few lines. This was spot on throughout. I closed my eyes listening to it and couldn't tell the difference.

Well done, though it seemed like he hadn't actually read the letter before. Pauses in the wrong places and such.

The pauses all seemed calculated to me mostly for the purpose of dramatization.

I thought it overrated as a lot of this guys stuff is. But, he's juiced in so we're stuck with him.

A lot of his stuff IS overrated, but this was pretty good. C'mon thread, quit sniffing you sister's panties and enjoy the other women in the world.

a lot of his stuff is overrated, partly because he tries to do too much... a handful of his impressions are incredible though. this one was amazing, i'm also a big fan of his Gruden and Kiper impressions. his barkley is wildly overrated. he's good with the mannerisms, but the voice isn't as close as advertised

Same here. The Farley, Sandler crew was really funny but personally I like the MadTV humor more.

SNL used to be good, MADtv was always mediocre, tbh...

It was the first, and began careers of many comedy legends. Mad TV never exactly propelled anybody to stardom except maybe Will Sasso, Artie Lang, and Frank Caliendo.

Prime MadTV (1998-2000) destroyed SNL for a few years. Will Sasso, Phil LaMarr, Michael McDonald, Mo Collins, Debora Wilson, Aries Spears, Alex Bornstein.

According to this thread, there's a rating system to impressionists' work. Hmm interesting. I thought it was pretty spot-on. His Berman is pretty good, too.
