I remember before I had an ice maker, there was this one time at HEB I didn't get the ice I paid for.

By the time I got home, I didn't feel like going back to get it so my only option was to drink my rum and Coke warm.

That sucked.

You should invest in this thing called a refrigerator.
They usually come with a freezer that has an ice maker, in case you weren't aware.

Am I the only one who loves at " Room temperature" soda?

I feel like the caffeine kicks in faster when the soda it's not cold out of the freezer.

Also, the taste is more pure.

Room temperature soda is gross, but I do prefer flat soda to fizzy soda....

with mixed drinks, i have to have ice.

But I don't mind some sodas at room temp like orange or even root beer.

Coke/Coke zero has to be cold to enjoy it, imo

Root beer needs to be ice cold, almost frozen IMHO and out of a frozen mug like they used to serve at Webers.

As a kid - I discovered the frosty root beer mug - but it was when A & W was a drive in place and it was up north - they were Sonic before Sonic.

Those were some tasty mugs o' root beer

and if you made them - a float - even better.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm grossed out when food/drinks are the opposite temperature of what they "should" be.... I think cold pizza is gross as well, for example, though lots of people enjoy it cold.... that's also why room temperature soda is disgusting to me....

Even microwave pizza is better than cold pizza IMHO, I can't eat cold pizza, or drink warm soda pop unless I am dying of thirst.

Worse than Cold Pizza, I've seen people eat cold pancakes. I'd rather cold pizza.

False in the case of restraunts.
Some really good cooking comes from some of the less fancy joints. Vice versa.
