The neocon GOP still has nothing other than "we're not the other guys" to campaign on.... if they were smart, they'd have long since handed the party over to the libertarian wing, who can actually appeal to young voters, tbh....

The oldcon of the Hoover mold that the 'libertarian' wing of the GOP got into congress has not had a message outside of obstructionism for the sake of itself since they entered 5 years ago. Well that and batshit stupid Bible takes from Senator Lee.

I understand that you do not advocate any of their shit. I am simply pointing out what the people who are in Congress who are the 'libertarian' wing are. There is nobody legitimate to hand it over to.

Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are all corporate stooges paid for in full like the rest of them. Your ideal is not manifest in any meaningful form in DC.
