His second 3 peat where he cemented his legacy and greatness was mostly manufactured and hyped by the NBA and media who were craving for Superstar appeal after 2 uninteresting and dull NBA Finals by the Rockets. I mean, the "Flu game", the "Last Shot" these are just some of the most overrated playoff moments to immortalize Jordan. It's about as bad as Jordan's "The Shot" over Craig Ehlo :lol





I grew up exactly in that era and in retrospect, I see how awful the league was back then. I still give props to MJ and but his teammates particularly Pippen and Rodman we're seriously underrated by the media and fans. This was before advance statistics and metrics were scrutinized. Game after game, if you read the newspapers or watch ESPN it's always about how Jordan scored 36, 45, 50 completely ignoring some of the most important aspects and elements of the game.
