Ebay is the shit. I am remodeling my bathrooms. for one bathroom i needed two faucets for a vessel sink. Each faucet would have been $178 + tax at lowe's. I ended up getting two faucets with shipping for 132 on ebay! I'm still pumped!

SW-I still use a Portable CD Player to accompany me on my walks...What is it you did not like about the "I POD"? I hear that they are problematic...

It has touch-control like a laptop mouse, which is hard to operate when you get hot & sweaty from working out or working in the yard, where I listen to it the most. That, and the songs I BOUGHT from iTunes can only either be burned on a CD or put on my iPod...I can't use them on anything else, like my phone or a different mp3 player.
User told me not to buy it, that I wouldn't like it, so I'm listening to a lot of "I told you so's", but that's okay....because he bought me one that was 1/2 as much as the iPod that is 1,000,000,000 times more user friendly that I LOVE....and it's tiny, too.
:)
I've spent so much money on ebay, I'm a certifiable junkie. :oops :lol
Along with my iPod, I sold my old cell phone that Sprint was only going to give me $50 to buy back...for $150. We made a small fortune on playoff tickets, too.

I've never bought anything from Ebay but I wouldn't mind getting a George Gervin or somet type of jersey from there. I just can't ever find any in my size :depressed. I need like a 52 and they're always 54 - 58.

Seriously though, Ebay is a great place. I use it every so often, and it was definetly my friend for playoff tickets.

Yes...but that wasn't the biggest reason I didn't like it, that just added fuel to the fire...so to speak. :)
I'm exstatic with what User bought me though...it's perfect. The contols are easier to manipulate, it has amazing sound AND an FM tuner AND a voice/memo recorder, things my iPod didn't have. :)
What the hell is GayBay? :lol
Oh, and I can record songs from the FM tuner to mp3 files. It's cool. :)

He was talking about it at Trinity the other night. It sounds cool especially with the FM tuner and the recorder, but apparently it's only 1 gig? It sounds more suitable for people that don't have a lot of music or don't mind changing out their digital library often. Otherwise, I'd get something has more data space.

I'm constantly changing out my music & playlists....it's not that big of a deal for me. 150-200 songs is usually enough to get through whatever I'm doing. And if I like certain lists, I'll listen to them over and over again anyway. :lol
I had one that was 20 gigs, but I didn't need nearly that much...and you're constantly adding & changing things anyway.
The only one that I had that I didn't like memory-wise was the 128M one...it barely held more than a CD.

I need the 40 gig model. Seriously. Thats probably why I haven't bought one yet.
The best thing I like about what he bought you SW (I believe he said it was the Iriver) is the fact it uses batteries as opposed to the Ipods own proprietary battery.

I would die for 20 gigs! I'm pushing the limit on my mini 4 gig right now :( I hear ya on the 128MB ones, my mom being her tech-challenged-but-thoughtful-self bought a 256MB mp3 player for my brother last christmas. The thing was almost worthless but he used it for a while just so he wouldn't hurt her feelings.

I meant more along the lines that you can listen to the songs you bought on your new toy :)
