I love Rob, but I can't picture him as a coach telling everyone to just go have fun. Hey guys, just don't do shit for the first 36 minutes of this must win game, it's OK. OK, now it's fourth quarter, you niggas need to go into God mode.

the lakers were literally better off signing Byron Scott, Gary Payton, and Robert Horry as players

At least he won't have to go far now to check Nash into the scorers table again and out for the season when Kobrick commands him to.

LOL, maybe it's just a ploy to get Nash to retire. I hope Rob throws a towel in his face just like Ainge.

Won't make a difference. I'd add Cooper if I'm Scott.

agreed, would love Coop to head the defense but GP wouldnt be a horrible choice either. Might as well have a great staff to get the most out of the assorted pieces we have ...
And as much as people want to LOL at the Lakers roster if healthy we will be mediocre. Which sucks. Because we will ost likely surrender our 1st rounder to PHX unless we get Cavs lucky ...

Yeah things aren't looking up. I do like the potential of Ed Davis and a healthy Jordan Hill who was our most productive and efficient player last year. Im also stoked to see JLin play for the Lakers who I want on the team forever:lol

But yeah we're definitely missing the playoffs. The first 7 are pretty much locks barring major injuries particularly Houston.

Spurs
OKC
Clips
GSW
Mavs
Portland
Rockets

Memphis/Pelicans/Suns are all better then LA right now.

Good for Robert Horry. A guy as accomplished and well traveled as him will probably make an excellent coach.

As a new Lakerfan, I don't think that adding Horry to coaching stuff is a good idea.
His talent was shoot the 3 in crunch time. Nothing more.
