That's what I'm saying though...people try to get under your skin in ALL of your threads, so it will likely happen in that one too....but if I were to guess, I'd say it would mitigate the trash talking substantially enough that you would be happy and so would every one else...it's a win-win.

I've watched several of the most open minded posters on this site come here and try to discuss, debate, just talk with avante and they've all caved (spurraider21 comes to mind)....they try as hard as they possibly could try to not hate on avante and in the end, they always do....it's what he started posting at this site for in the first place according to him...he knew his shtick would get under everyone's skin, so he's relentless with it and unfortunately, he's good at it.

Why waste time on it? First of all, it takes 5 seconds to read someone's post, and it takes even less time to skim right thru one of his full page trivia posts, so it's not like there is a ton of time taken out of my life. At the end of the day, this site exists for two purposes, discuss the topics at hand, and entertainment. The problem with avante is that he dictates what the topics will be by creating a good dozen or so threads every couple days, and then won't discuss anything because he refuses to acknowledge that his opinions could possibly be invalid or useless. Furthermore, sometimes people make really insightful posts that are interesting to read but you have to shuffle thru the "fastest 40 times" to get to them.

Also, I don't like putting people on ignore because I feel like that's surrendering, for lack of a better term.

I think 10 wins will be needed for WC probably at least 11 for division. Chiefs and raiders should be 3 or 4 wins for both broncos and chargers- so one of the teams should have at least 4 wins from the division possibly 5 or 6. The each take at least 2 from afc east but more likely 3 and possibly 4 for one of them. So probably 8 wins at least from one of them with 6 more games that will all be tough( except for chargers playing Jags)
