Manu said hes was looking to "fight" the Spurs' decision, but as soon as he started training, he felt a lot of pain in his leg, so he decided it was the best not to play.
So, although Manu is sad, he also support Spurs decision.
So stop it please.

uh... you ever seen someone's leg snap in half NOT playing sports at a high level?
Cause all of the 90 degree snapped bones I've ever seen in person have come while playing sports.

Yes....... but to elaborate: The "freak accident" I was referring to wasn't necessarily a fracture of this nature. It could be anything that causes him miss time.

well manu is a dumbshit cause the Spurs DOCTORS told him the extent of the injury so if he tried to play through that he's the imbecile
People with the relationship like Manu has with the Spurs don't backdoor each other on a world stage. CIA Pop and all. Manu knows what he's doing. He just delivered a ring to SA, damn near gift wrapped it considering his salary over the years.

Manu was arguably the 4th best guard in the Finals btqh

Yup. #2 PER on the team for the entire playoffs, behind only Tim. He had an amazing playoff run.

He was so-so in 2013... but it has no bearing on how good we has in 2014...
Arguably, it goes to show the Spurs cannot win without a brilliant Ginobili...

in 2013 he was absolutely awful and cost us the ring. in 2014 he was good enough to be the 5th best player in the team IMO
and he got outplayed by both Mills and Green in the Finals tbqh

Manu wasn't the "ONLY" Spur who cost us the championship in 2013.
To think and say that he was is beyond stupidity, it is even beyond having a blonde moment.
It is moronic in the extreme!

That's stupid and short sighted. You don't get there without Manu. Players on your team either win or they lose, but if you're in the Finals, you were doing plenty right. Only one team can win. Manu could have been like Lebron and quit after last year.

Probably the shittiest troll attempt on the site. Tracy was done before Pop pulled him out of the sewer and that's right were Pop put him. He couldn't even finish a season as a pitcher.

Spurs would've beaten the Lakers, Warriors, and Grizzlies without Manu. Parker was in beast mode for all those series. And I'm sure you'll bring up the Manu game winner against GS, where the Spurs were UP until Manu chucked up a stupid ass 3 pointer with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. You're right, Manu stayed because he felt sorry (taking a vacation in Argentina & giving interviews about how he isn't obsessed over Game 6 like Pop was) I'm sure 2yrs/14M had nothing to do with him coming back... :lol

I'm guessing the Spurs didn't need Manu all season.

If Manu was 5th best on the team, what does that make Tony? 8th or 9th best? Frenchie sucked ass this year. Tony has yet to recover from his mental collapse in the 2013 Finals.

Hopefully Mills is back to this seasons form by the time playoffs come around. It will be interesting to see if Cory can step up his game like Mills did this past season.

PG did marginally better than TP.
PG = out for entire season
TP = 66% for an entire season.
We learnt to say no from TP, not PG.

Pop did. Pulling Tim Duncan at the end of game 6 was one of the worse decisions, if not the worse, by Pop in his career. He knew it. This video says it all. Pop played to Spolestra drum last year. This year, he set the tone and Spo and the Heat couldn't keep rhythm.
