Premature or warranted? Some of the video he looked great in but is it too early to tell if he's back?

The same shit we got to start last year, and how did that turn out

Good point. How great he looks just seems even more shoved in our face this offseason than last.

Spur fan getting nervous about the contender coming together in Chicago.......?

Bulls will without a doubt have the #1 record in the East as they did the last 2 seasons Rose finished

Spurs would take the Bulls in 6 IMO, not worried about them.

Fans haven't learned their lesson about ol' sport, have they. He will never be the same player that he once was

And still come up short when it counts.

And collapse in the playoffs when it matters?

What are the USA coaches supposed to say? That he sucks and isn't gonna be the same player he once was?

Spurs shouldn't worry about any Eastern team. All the competition is in the West. Their biggest nemesis is their age right now, and injuries are bound to be more untimely than last year, and OKC has to catch a break eventually.

But Rose makes a difference when he's out there. That's all that matters. No one can predict his longevity, but I don't feel too optimistic about him even making it until Christmas tbh.

Rose seems way more confident this year..although you can tell the lack of in-game ball control is taking time to get caught back up with. He lost the ball a few times. He looks good though. Above average play maker, and that's all they need from him to win in the east.

He was horrible in the games he did play last year. He showed flashes of his athleticism, but couldn't finish to save his life.

From what I saw of Rose at the exhibition game, he really hasn't changed his game at all. Still a ton of awkward jerking, landing on one leg, violent movement, and pretty much everything that he shouldn't be doing if he wants to still be playing by age 30. I don't hate D-Rose but the guy needs to learn how to play with less violence and more finesse. Hasn't he learned that lesson now after 2 non-contact knee injuries?

As I said before, he would be a pretty garbage player if he stopped doing all of that. Like Westbrook, he relies on awkward/athletic drives to score most of his points. One of the reasons why I think TP is underrated as a PG is his ability to do all of that without being a monster athlete and more of a finesse player.

Less Westbrook, more Tony Parker.

He said himself the injury is minor. But if he gets injured every 4 games, then it becomes major.

It was lame as fuck how the journalists ran to defend his "I take games off cause I'm thinking off the future" bullshit. I was a fan of his, but he's been such a bitch these last two years that I don't think he has many fans left outside of Chicago.

dude is done. got glass ankles.

IMO it's the fact he was out for 2 years. His ankles degenerated IMO

that's the #1 mistake ppl with injuries do. They nurse and rehab the injury and forget the rest of the body. there you go
