i fell asleep through the first one, half enjoyed the second one, it had some pretty good parts.

Clerks II was awful, but I fucking loved the first. The scene ordering all the porn movies was hilarious.

:rolleyes anyone who thinks that is a douche. If the second had just as small of a budget and was black and white you'd like it too. I loved the first but the second had far more LOL moments.

The first had great dialog. The second was stupid as hell. Forty year old fat fuck flipping burgers lands Rosario Dawson? :lmao

Only funny scene in II was when Randall got in the argument with the niggas about the use of porch monkey.

I rented the first one back in 94 and it was a revelation back then. While rather vulgar and odd, it's charms out weighed it's sophomoric leanings. Now, Chasing Amy is a favorite of mine and holds up in repeat viewings.

Rosario Dawson was a manager of the burger place, not that hard to land. I think the first is a better movie but the second had bigger laughs

The problem with the first one was that the lead character -- Dante -- was absolute shit.
