This season that will be Tyreek Hill a legit 10.1 blazer for Oklahoma State.

Yep, he's been hidden away at a JC. His first track season at OSU, he broke all the school records in the 60/100/200. He is the kind of kid where if not for football could be a World Class sprinter.

So when some announcer says...."this kid has world class speed".....he's not too far wrong.

The 5-10, 185-pound junior from Pearson, Ga., lived up to his billing as a sprinter in a football uniform, as he showed bursts of speed all over the field. For the game, he finished with 44 yards rushing on eight carries, 62 yards receiving on six catches, 140 yards on six kickoff returns and 32 yards on two punt returns. That’s 22 touches for 278 all-purpose yards.

Should have been able to out run the police per Avante then.

How about the fastest runnning backs ever?
That would be Bob Hayes, his 10.06 on dirt back in 64 is superior to anything we saw later on.
Trindon Holliday 10.00 LSU
Jeff Demps 10.01 Florida
Curtis Dickey 10.10 Tex A&M
Andrew Hopkins 9.2 SFAustin
Sultan McCullough 10.17 USC
Jamaal Charles 10.18 Texas
Michael Bennett 10.18 Wisconsin
Tyreek Hill 10.19 Okla St
Herschel Walker 10.23
Travis Williams 9.3 ASU
O.J.Simpson 9.4 USC
Bo Jackson 10.33....he rarely ran outdoors
John Roderrick 9.3 SMU
Stone Johnson 9.3 Grambling
Richmond Flowers 9.4 Tenn
Marcus Dupree 9.5 Oklahoma
Billy Cannon 9.5 LSU
Then there ws this guy...
Houston McTear tied the 100yard record at 9.0 while a junior in HS, he also ran a 10.13. While at Baker HS in Florida he averaged over 13 yards a carry. Why you have never heard of him was because he couldn't make the grades to get into any school. So he ended up out here in Cali running track for Cerritos/Santa Monica JC's.

Some of you don't really get the huge speed difference between the SEC and the Big10. I will zero in on football because on the track it's like Jamaica vs China, yep, ridiculous.
That size with speed combo that is seen in the SEC is like no other conference not just the Big10. So many big fast athletes in the SEC. Clowney a great example, as was Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson. Both over 220 pounds with sub 10.35 speed.
The front sevens that SEC defenses can throw at you are unlike any others in college football, so many big guys with quicks/speed.
Anyone thinking the Big10 is on a par with the SEC when it comes to speedy football players you're about as wrong as wrong gets.
Devin Smith is the fastest Ohio State Buckeye, he runs a 10.56 100m. Florida running back Jeff Demps ran a 10.01 while in high school. That right there the perfect example of the difference in speed between the two conferences. Demps could have given Smith a head start....ha~~~~~~

This is what has won the Big10 100m the last few seasons...
2008 Ibrahim Kabia, MINN 10.29
2009 Adam Harris, MICH 10.29
2010 Andrew Riley, ILL 10.54
2011 Shane Crawford, PUR 10.18
2012 Andrew Riley, ILL 10.39
2013 Justin Austin, IOWA 10.27
2014 Raheem Mostert, PUR 10.30
The top high schoolers could win the Big10. Herschel Walker was running 10.23 back in the 80's.

Nice curse you have here.
Will you ever take the big picture into consideration? Stop going with.."well this week"..."well this season"...ok? That screams.."rookie" Remember my...check out Nick Chubb? ...all he did was make the all SEC team. Yep, that's some curse. There I was talking about as a Gurley replacement for 2014.
Tyreek Hill is on a whole other level when it comes to football speed. He has elite speed, world class sprinter type speed, do you honestly think he won't get an NFL look? Why not slow down with your silliness and start looking at.....down the road....ok?

What's a shame is your ignorance about most everything. At his age he has plenty of time to either land a pro football or pro track gig.
One more time.......stop freaking out like a rookie over a game/season, ok? Not that I'm surprised you play that.
Of course you'll totally ignore Nick Chubb....again.

The ESPN gang talking about the speed of TCU's receivers. How they'd make a great 4x1 team, well no not really but, there is no school that has had more sub 10.00 sprinters than TCU and they do hold the NCAA 4x1 record.
All these Horn Frogs would run a sub 10.00
Jamaicans
Ray Stewart
Percival Spencer
Michael Frater
St. Kitts
Kim Collins
USA
Jon Drummond
Charles Simon
Darvis Patton
No other school has more than three.
