I'm due for an upgrade on a 2 year contract. The Samsung Galaxy S 5 is going for $99 right now with 2 year contract through Sprint. Is the Galaxy S 5 still a good phone to jump on?

You really sure you want to stay on Sprint? I have literally not personally known anyone on Sprint who was happy with the service.

Yea, the service is crap most of the time. What company do you recommend that is comparable in price, that is also unlimited everything, but better service?

Just a couple of questions to help make a good suggestion for you:
1) What state/zip do you live in?
2) Are you on a shared plan?
3) How much are you currently paying per month?
4) How many minutes and data do you consume on average per month?

Unlimited data is no longer a thing on other carriers, but you might be able to find a plan that provides enough data for your usage habits.

Shared plans are pretty much the only way to go.

My service was utter shit in NM. In Texas - even in places out in the middle of nowhere - I usually have 4g. I was going to switch but it was actually really good when I was storm chasing (and not in NM). Plus unlimited data for me on Sprint.

My gf's sprint service is barely usable in Austin 4g/3g.
