and suddenly the clippers have really deep pockets... not that they're going to be tax candidates anytime soon. they have almost nobody worth re-signing with bird rights anytime soon

You do realize TP just signed a 3 year / $45m extension, right? You posted in the thread...

You got like $6 million in capspace if Jordan walks, as no way Dudley opts out of that $4.25 million next summer.

You're sounding like an ignorant Laker fan there tbh. Leonard's going to cost probably $16 million a year starting, which your team can't clear.

true, tbh... Windows might crash while looking at Dudley's advanced metrics, but at least you don't have a bartender making basketball decisions...

The Clippers have 9 players under contract after next season for almost $69 million. DeAndre Jordan is a free agent and will get a big contract (4 yrs, $52-60 million).
if he gets a 4 yr $52 million deal, the Clippers would have $ 82 million for '15-16 season for 10 players and another $4+ million to reach the roster min.. They could easily have $86 million dollars in salary plus about $ 5 million in luxury tax.

they could move Dudley but his stock has taken a hit so its doubtful. They could be in trouble after next season. They may even have to consider trading or declining Crawford's deal, who will be 35 after next season.
I can see some team overpaying for Jordan (Knicks) wouldn't be shocked got he got 4yrs, $56 million. The Hawks could also have a ton of cap space next season (around $30 million in space)

Jordan's absolutely worth that kind of money now. I'm amazed how good he has become under Rivers, and the Clippers will surely pay to re-sign him next summer with Ballmer owning the team now. They're in great shape to contend for titles the next 3-4 years or so, and should be significantly improved this season with Hawes on the roster.
