I'm so desensitized to so much organized crime, hatred, and death just from watching "The Wire", "City of God", "Goodfellas", "Carlitos Way", "American X History", "Blood Diamond",...etc. I feel...almost nothing anymore for people who die in the midst of hatred because I've accepted hatred as an inevitability. Then, the fear that after your death, people who you thought or knew were close to you will talk down your legacy or even say you died a coward. Hell, they'll even take what was precious to you.

Personally, I'm content we all share this fate because no is above death. We have to not be above this because what would happen if we could control who dies? Wait......we're already doing that already? Even the evil all around you. Even the people most precious to you. An uncanny retribution of the Earth and existence for our lust, greed, innocence, and ignorance of our very being.

Her death is almost(is) based on statistics Had she not made one certain decision, she would be alive today. A single gunshot's results happen in less than a 2 second frame and immediately, the gunman would leave for obvious reasons. Had she been one minute late to her death, she probably would have avoided it....and we could say that about everyone who's died in similar situations.

May she return to the Earth from which she came.
