Jax was pathetic his last year with the Spurs, one of the worst players in the league.

Jackson almost willed Spurs to victory in 2012 WCF game 6 against OKC.

but too bad, okc refs prevailed.

He got a huge friggin head after he left the Spurs in 03. He used to just be a clutch 3 making turnover machine, but then after Indy/Detroit/GS, he thought he was more than that.

I like how he said he'd just swallow his pride right after describing how he didn't swallow his pride. And you have to have massively shit the bed to get dropped off the roster a week before the playoffs.

The Spurs were winners before him and after him. Without Pop, he was little more than an inefficient chucker on shit teams. His best shooting year was 02-03.

Jackson actually played pretty well in the regular season. In the playoffs, his FG% dropped alarmingly though.

After last year, he lost all the goodwill from the Spurs fans. Dude was on a championship squad and getting paid $9 mil. I'm glad we cut him cause he not only came to training camp out of shape but he also started sulking cause RC was not entertaining a contract extension.

He's a poor man's Danny Green on offense tbh. His defense is nowhere near Green's.

Hearing that it's obvious he had some kind of beef with "Ginobili" as he so formally called him. Thinking you're better than a fricking hall of famer. :lol

"Pop only cares for 3 guys on that team" :rollin

What a dumb son of a gun.

I think it was only Danny Green.

SJAX was on edge because he was frustrated with his minutes and his shots not falling. I think that news article calling him one of the most overpaid NBA players set him over the edge. I still think releasing him was a mistake. They could have suspended for some games and see how he responds.

I think it was only Danny Green.

It's well known that Pop asked him "Do you think you're better than Danny Green and Manu Ginobili"? and look that video again when asked about Pop wanting Jackson to admit Danny Green was better Stephen responded "It was actually a couple guys".

lol "If Kobe or Westbrrok wouldn't have got injured they (Spurs) might not be in the finals" :rollin salty ass fucker

Jax just blew it. Spurs dont discuss it but I bet he set the whole locker room on edge. Doesn't everyone have some pushy loudmouth over-swaggering jackass like this at work?

I was having flashbacks of 03 and saying he never should have left. I remember his interview coming back saying he would do anything to win and regretted leaving the first time around and so on. It did not end well though, wanted them to win another ring with him on the team and they fell flat that year and the next he was released.

Yep. Got robbed of that amazing shooting performance in game 6. I felt fking sick when they called a technical for him after he knocked down a 3 and stared at the okc bench.

Ahhh revenge is sweet.
