View Full Version : Spurs: Kawhi is one of the most underrated offensive players in the league..

Him being underrated is a product of him being slightly overrated in the defensive end IMO...People say he is product of a system..

- Truth is, only 50% of his points are assisted compared to a guy like Durant whose points is assited 68% of the time. Not saying he is currently better than durant.

- The most efficient Post up player in the league.

- Deadly shooter..Catch and shoot, dribble shoot etc.

- Underrated passer and PnR player.

- Great offensive awareness

- Great cuttter

- A legitimate scrapper.

- Dominant offensive rebounder

Again, His points are a result of individual brilliance.

He's kinda reckless on the fastbreak though. I can remember a few times where he picked up offensive fouls driving into the lane instead of passing.

it was in 2013. he'd just find his little corner three and brick it every time.

He is overrated on both offense and defense. Black, american and with braids.. the xenophobic tards in ST want to give 'Murica more importance in Spurs than it actually has

if we had Papanikolau or some other mediocre SF who could defend, we still win 5

The entire league is adjusting to the spurs and KL.

Look at Lebron and Carmelo, both losing ton of weight to match up to KL.

Leonard averages 13 points per game. I think he's perfectly rated as is.

You do realize he only played 29 mpg right? He started off the season slow too after sitting out the entire off season this year. 13 PPG, 6 RPG, 2 SPG, while guarding the best player on the opposing team, capable of guarding multiple positions.

You make good points which I don't disagree with. All I'm saying is that I don't think he's underrated nor do I think he's overrated. Most people look at him as a great young player on the come up (Which he is), to me that is not being underrated.

Nope. Duncan took him in, elevated him, and got us 5. That's how it was written and how it shall be.

You're both right. He's great in transition, but still prone to picking up silly fouls. Any time he'd get an early foul or two in the playoffs, I'd be less than at ease.

Not to mention that he's clutch. 2 fantastic finals series in his young career already, both against LBJ and he's more then held his own offensively and defensively. He lifts his game when it matters on the biggest stage.

So let's get this straight. Tim Duncan played 74 out of a possible 82 games in the regular season and was a key factor in bringing home another championship to his Spurs. While Kobe on the other hand only appeared in a whopping 6 games for the entire season. Who really is the "tired old shit bag" here?

I want to hear your explanation how a player who played 74 games is a "tired old shit bag" compared to a player who played 6 games and hasn't even sniffed the trophy in years. And by the way, averaging 15 and 10 in the finals at 38 years old is by no means TOSB material. Fuckin idiot
