shit this could take a bit. i try to not get rid of any, they all represent a place and time for better or worse. let me check the archives....
i got a couple of corny albums like Simpsons Sing the Blues, Green Jello, Weird Al but I don't regret buying them, especially Weird Al.
Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince-Code Red. probably still better than Will Smith's acting
Barenaked Ladies-Born on a Pirate Ship. too Canadian.
Sting-Mercury Rising. Sting's douchiness is too much at times.
Sting-The Dream of the Blue Turtles (vinyl) -see above, though a couple of great songs on this one.
NIN-Downward Spiral. not embarrassed, just regret buying it at a young age. some good songs but i don't like that he recorded it at the site of the Manson murders.
I need to find my collection of tapes, some real gems in there like Stryper :lol, but lots of good memories with the tapes and various mixes.
Paging Shadowflames...
Dishwalla - Pet Your Friends
Enya - Shepherd Moons (fuck you, this album is awesome)

tbh as I've gotten older I've become much less enamored with the whole "angst-ridden white guy" world expressed in movies like Garden State and bands like The Shins. Just seems like it was the natural immature progression of white guys. The Shins offer the same message that Limp Bizkit does, only they package it to appeal to twenty something man-boys who think they've matured, as opposed to appealing to dumb angry teenagers.

Da Brat was the gayist fucking shit ever. Fuck Missy Eliott and her can't stand the rain because she was too fat to get off the couch and go outside. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees were wack. True.

As mentioned already, Ace of Base - The Sign
Reality Bites soundtrack - similar to Garden State, but not nearly as good.
Godzilla soundtrack - full of really shitty remakes and even crappier originals
Puddle Of Mudd - the one with Hates Me, Blurry. Shit that sucked.
Hole - Live Through This
Eagles - Greatest Hits, not a bad album, but I've come to discover the Eagles are like the Boyz2Men of classic rock... Lots of catchy hits, but almost no substance.
Lastly, every Sugar Ray album ever...
