I am curious to see how David Ash looks. When he's healthy, he has almost always played very well. Coach Strong is showering him with praise, and Strong doesn't seem to be the kind of guy to just throw out strong praise for just anyone.

Texas (-24) vs. North Texas

I got the Horns covering the spread... easily.

Wow, that's easy money.

I can see a 49-10 type game.

North Texas played at Georgia last season, lost 21-45, the year before at LSU, lost 14-41. This isn't like Savannah State, they can play. But....they only have 9 starters returning and none on that defensive line.

Texas should cover the 24 at home. But...there are better plays out there. Here we do have a team coming off a 9-4 year thinking they can play, a few turnovers, a special teams play or two and a...Texas 45-NT 22 wouldn't shock me. With Texas at 45 NT at 13 when the dogs were pulled off.

McCarney is a really good coach and I don't think UT would've covered last year, but like Avante said UNT lost a lot of guys. I wouldnt touch that game tbh.

UTSA beat them in Denton last year, and they were a better team last year. I think Texas will take care of business firmly.

Much more likely aggy gets thrashed 89 to 0=.

North Texas could pull the upset.

I seriously doubt that, there is no doubt these teams are on totally different levels. But.....usually the little guy is more excited about the game (Appalachian State) so add a few breaks and they might hang within the number.

Even if UT isn't all that good, pure new-era emotion should propel them to cover the spread.

The UTSA/UH spread isn't as obscene as I thought it would be. Nice.

Going to be fun watching them cover the spread in person. I will have a traveler with me in the stands in case the unthinkable happens...hell...who am I kidding...I'm downing that shit either way.

Rebel defense bails out Bo Wallace. That was some great pressure on the QB.

The good news is that the Rebel defense is beasting.

The bad news is that the Rebels still don't have an above average QB.

The ugly news is the stupid penalties.

This was actually a winnable game if Hedrick didn't suck so fucking bad.... the defense has been doing everything they possibly can to bail his ass out and he's still choking....

Wallace hasn't been so great either but at least he's not a pussy....

If Vanderbilt is getting destroyed by 30 at home against a high school team from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, then the Rebels need to humiliate them by 50 at least next week. Not even Bo Wallace could screw this one up...............or could he?

North Texas could pull the upset.

Replace the the word could with will, and then you have made an impressive statement.
A comet COULD hit DKR and cause the cancellation of the game.

So let's say you go to Vegas and bet it straight up with odds and you must bet $1000 dollars. What odds you take 5-1, 10-1, 50-1? For N. Texas...What?

Could... That's weak. And it will remain weak after the game is over with a N. Texas victory. Say will, or give some odds you would bet straight up to show us how strong your COULD is.

Bama's D does not look good. And WVU has dropped passes.
Shades of what OU did last year to them, 1st half anyway.

Anybody catching this NW-Cal game? Cal is choking hard after being up 31-7 late in the 3rd. Still up by 7, but NW just got the ball back with 4 min left

Ash was considerably better than Case McCoy would have been. Texas covers the spread with a 30 point win, but could have been a better performance. UNT is just not very good. We knew that though.
