Warren, in defending her vote to send funds to Israel in the middle of its war with Hamas, said she thinks civilian casualties are the "last thing Israel wants."

"But when Hamas puts its rocket launchers next to hospitals, next to schools, they're using their civilian population to protect their military assets. And I believe Israel has a right, at that point, to defend itself,

Why is this heartbreak? Liberals don't demand ideological purity in the same way that conservatives do. I disagree with her on this. Glad she is not my clone, I guess.

#1. Some liberals do.
#2. Not all liberals are the same.
#3. Some conservatives do.
#4. Not all conservatives are the same.

Hello WC and boutons binary-world.

My comment still stands. They don't demand ideological purity in the same way. They demand it differently. :p

Oh you mean the page that has this as its first paragraph?

Democrat In Name Only (DINO) is a disparaging term for a member of the United States Democratic Party. A DINO is considered to be more conservative (fiscally and/or socially) than fellow Democrats.
The term was created as an analogous opposite to "RINO" (Republican In Name Only), which refers to more liberal members of the U.S. Republican Party. It was first used on August 31,2014 in an argument about the importance of ideological purity between the two major political parties in the United States.

You can plainly see that it was created specifically in response to RINO.

All joking aside, moderate isn't used as a derogatory term as far as I know.

Funny how TB clings to being a conservative. God bless. Let it go. You're not conservative anymore. You've outgrown it.

TB clinging to conservatism like mfrs cling to their guns and their religion.

TB doesn't cling to conservatism, he just is who he is and knows it. I have never got the feeling that he is trying to live up to some ideal.

This is way too fine a distinction for you bubbas: Any country has the right to defend itself. How it "defends itself" is a separate point.

iow, very few are denying Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas' rockets, but many are extremely against the Pax Israeli of Israel's devastation of Gaza.

I could be wrong, but blue dog never seemed like too much of a derogatory term to me.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why Darrin feels he has a triumph here.
