In the first round we saw Horry's game 5 against Detroit be too much for Kawhi's breakout performance in the finals 33-5. That performance will face the winner of this game.

Here we have two WCF games. On one hand, we have prime Duncan's dominant 37/16 performance against LA in 03. This game was especially big because he throughly out-played Shaq and broke the 3-peat despite some thunderous comebacks by LA.

On the other hand, we have arguably Tony's best playoff performance to date. He torched Memphis that series. Remember his hot first half in I think game 1 or 2? He dropped 16 points and dished out 18 dimes in game 2 to solidify our spot among the best in the West.

Which was more dominant?

I'd go with Tim for the reasons you mentionned on OP tbh This game was especially big because he throughly out-played Shaq and broke the 3-peat despite some thunderous comebacks by LA.

TP against Memphis was in beast mode, during this kind of game you feel he truly dominates the game and does what the fuck he wants. Few PGs in the league can do that tbh CP3 has this kind of games too but Duncan 03 performance was epic and against one the most dominant big of his generation. So this one goes to Tim

Some of those Parker assists near the end were borderline, if not outright 'home cooking' stats. That makes his overall statline a little less impressive than it originally looks.

Besides, it's hard to make any argument against Duncan nearly getting a 40-20 game. :lol

Tbh there had to be 8 and obviously there are going to be mismatches. So quit being faggots and just vote.

I'm looking forward to the round 2 of 37/16 vs. Horry's game 5

I don't think any of Tony's best games compare to Tim's best games playoffs or otherwise.. Tim's best games the numbers all around are insane..

Tony's game ain't even that memorable. Though I understand that you're doing this in a tournament format so i guess Duncan's is 1 seed while Tony's is 8. No need to ask though, we all know the answer.

Duncan's by far and it isn't remotely close.

Try Parker's 37 point game vs Grizzlies in 2013

I liked watching the Parker video, it was very well made. Keeping the audio from the previous play while showing the setup for the next play was a great touch.

Still this is a bigger mismatch than a 1 vs 16 NCAA tournament game.

What would be an interesting idea is to have a tournament of the best games for all the Spurs players that year. Like you could have Tim's epic game against Washington, Green willing the team back from 20-plus down against Phoneix, Splitter's 17/12 against Dallas and so forth. That way, it's easier and something you could do every year.

If the question is significance, there's no question that Duncan's is the winner. I think Duncan's game was the better game by virtually any measure, but it's not even a contest when it comes to the historical significance of the two games (which makes sense, given the tournament format).

Parker's memorable performance in Game 2 against the Grizz is a prime example of a guy taking what the other team is willing to give him and torching them, but ultimately only helped the Spurs hold serve (and barely, at that) early in a series.

Duncan's Game 6 at Staples was a taking of what he wanted by brute force to put away the most important playoff series of a title run on the road.
