Ernest Byner
In Byner's defense, he played a terrific game before that fumble: 187 yards from scrimmage (120 receiving) and two touchdowns.
How about:
- Gary Anderson
- Ronnie Harmon (also fumbled 4 times in the '86 Rose Bowl while he was at Iowa; a lot of people think he was on the take in that game)
- Dan Fouts (5 interceptions, 4 to the same man- Vernon Perry- in the '79 playoffs against an Oiler team that was without Earl Campbell)
- Jackie Smith

Marlon Mcree one of the few who ruined the 2006 Chargers run.

My favorite (to me personally) is the Romo botched snap play. I was watching the game with a couple of Cowboys fans and I'll never forget how ape shit they went. Never seen or heard anything like that since. I'm pretty sure one of them wished death on Romo and his entire family.
But overall (historically)...it would have to be Scott Norwood. I mean you can't think of the Buffalo Bills without thinking about the 4 str8 SB losses. Even though it is a helluva accomplishment to make 4 str8 SBs.

I have no recollection of that playoff game whatsoever...I knew the Chargers had a 4th quarter lead and that's it--only highlight I remember seeing is LT crying about the Patriots celebration, but I missed the game itself

Marty wasting a challenge on that obvious fumble and blowing a crucial timeout as a result was even dumber than McCree's play itself....

Patriots had 4th down from i think around midfield or Chargers 40. Mcree Intercepts pass instead of batting it down or something (which would have given chargers good field position and a chance to run down most of the clock) and decides to run it and gets stripped by one of Pats Wr's. Patriots went a scored a touchdown.
The chargers lost by three and the game also included a muffed punt by Eric Parker, A missed FG by Kaeding, a 15- yard penalty for a headbutt by either Kiel or Florence. Rivers also had a fumble and an interception with no touchdowns. This was his first year starting.
Brady threw 3 interceptions but I think there might have been another that got tipped up at the line and a defender was under it but just missed it. Im not sure at all about that though.

We were all cheated out of an epic SB. 14-2 Broncos vs. 15-1 Vikings (Moss rookie year) would've been legendary. As soon as Mort made that kick I immediately knew the SB would suck. I was at that SB...ugh

:lol Whiner fans still whining about the refs when they got Akers' flop call, an uncalled late hit on Flacco, the bogus roughing the passer on Ngata, the uncalled PI against Torrey Smith, and might I add, the uncalled blatant hold on Roddy White that enabled SF to even get to that Super Bowl in the first place....
