Man, it's a disappointing card. I'm not even that excited about the co-main. This feels like more of a Fight Night to me except for the title shot.

My bad. For some reason I had Phil Davis and Anthony Johnson mixed in my head. I think that's because a Teixeira/Johnson fight made so much more sense in my mind, or I wanted it to happen. Anyway, I agree with you, I'm giving that fight to Glover.

Phil Davis vs. Glover Teixeira - I really wish that Davis would develop a striking game, with his athleticism and wrestling he could be so good. But he hasn't developed any striking so Glover is going to knock his head off.

Fabio Maldonado vs. Hans Stringer - toss-up

Darren Elkins vs. Lucas Martins - Elkins penchant for getting hit isn't going to help him here - Martins has been improving quickly

Beneil Dariush vs. Diego Ferreira - both guys are legit up-and-comers, but I think that Dariush is just a bit more ready for the show than Ferreira.

To me it was a toss up but Aldo isn't winning 4 out of those 5 period. Great fight though, damn that round 3...

Especially compared to that shitty fight Phil Davis gave us. I understand his strategy was valid, but oh so boring. Glover just had no answer for Davis' grappling.

I also liked Dariush, and how awesome is Maldonado?

Great fight. I agree with thiste that it could have gone either way. UFC wants to keep getting their bread buttered in Brazil...so there is no way in hell they are giving any sort of close decision to Mendes.
