Freddy Garcia is no-hitting Twins through 7!!!

Freddy Garcia has no-hit Minnesota through seven innings ... but may not even come away with the win. Johan Santana has allowed just two hits and the Twins and White Sox are deadlocked at 0-0. Great game.

Stay tuned.

The first mistake Freddy Garcia made all night didn't just cost him a shot at a no-hitter, it could cost him the game. Jacque Jones' homer with one out in the eighth ended Garcia's no-no bid and gave the Twins a 1-0 lead.

Damn, I thought I was going to see a no no.

Looks like Garcia got the Roger Clemens treatment from his hitters.

No shit....and Roger pitched a complete game last night and his team was shut out for the freaking 9th time he has started.

If I were Roger, I would line up the team and just chew their asses out for 30 mins straight.

I mean how bad can you be, so not even score a run 9 times when your ACE is busting his ass out there for you???

Clemens retired 17 straight batters before Brian Giles homered with one out in the seventh for a 2-0 lead.

It was just the eighth homer allowed this year by Clemens (11-6), who lost for only the second time on the road this year. His ERA, best in the majors, bumped up to 1.56 overall and 0.56 on the road.
