Both Mills bad shoulder and Manu stress fracture were confirmed by the Spurs.
Was there any confirmation on Parker's injury during the playoffs? Or was that only a SpursTalk rumour?

He talked about it a few times, he played through the pain all the way up until the final game of the POR series, which he sat out due to being in too much pain and they closed out the series.

When did Spurstalk become the Parker hate channel? He is still the Spurs' most productive player and essential to their title last year. You guys are insane. You are holding his injury against him.

He was a warrior that was icing his ankles in the delivery room! Shame on your hypocrite asses.

Parker has always been underrated by Spurstalk. It's tradition, like bolding the names of only the cool people, and parroting with Thread.

Ok, so it was just Parker saying this, nothing from the Spurs? Does this mean that next season he will be 100% after resting (no special treatment required)?.

Chronic severe widespread pain from 2013 finals injury, far worse than Manu's stress fracture - which also made him ineffective in the 2014 finals.

? I thought that after 2013 he played for France and was ok. Was there any official report from the Spurs about this injury? Or is it also a Spurstalk rumour? How can an injury only affect a player in the playoffs for 2 years?

??? Pop sat him for 2.5 weeks before, during, and after the ASG. He was hurting and his play tailed off badly.

If you have two good games, followed by and average one and one stinker, no one notices in the regular season. In the playoffs, a compressed 20 something game schedule, that stands out.

Right on point here.

Parker had a good season. He earned his All-Star bid (some might disagree), and had plenty of big games in the playoffs (especially Games 1 and 2 against Miami, which many people seem to easily forget). But he was NOT All-Star Parker for most of the year. He went from being an MVP vote earner to a fringe All-Star candidate, and that doesn't just happen by coincidence.

The question now, is...if Parker can come back full strength, after a full offseason of rest, and still be the leader he was during 2013-2014?

Hard for anybody to call that anything but an upgrade.

I do follow the Spurs, but I do not remember any official communications from the team doctors. For example: "Tony Parker says he played on a painful ankle". What was the injury? Minor sprain? Was it a ligament, tendon or bone injury? Patty will be off for a while. I do not expect Manu to be 100% for a while either. Will TP be 100% for the start of the season? Was the injury chronic in nature so we would be risking his health if we play him too much early in the season to compensate for the lack of ball handlers?

He sprained his ankle vs Dallas. reinjured it vs OKC. People forgot this?

He played a very very good series vs Miami. the summer off will do him a gigantic amount of good.
