this just beat WMDs in Iraq debacle

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/09/17/us-iraq-crisis-congress-idUSKBN0HC28120140917

when asked "how will you know who's a rebel and who's ISIS?" Obama responded:

"ISIS tends to wear ISIS flags and black turbans that cover their faces. If they are not wearing those, then it's a safe bet they are not ISIS so weapons will be handed to them"

:lol :lol

This is unbelievable and unprecedented. Usually the House would vote and taxpayers would be notified. This time because of that Syria debacle the Hous basically voted in secret so average joe doesnt have time to calk their congressman.

If we let this slide, this is the beginning of the end comrades

Like Reagan selling to Iran.

Uncle Tom following in retard Bush's footsteps. Still, che's quote sounds made up, since it's not in the article he linked and haven't seen it sourced.

MIC, a major, untouchable part of the corporatocracy, doesn't care which party is in power (although it vastly prefers the blood-thirsty, war-mongering, country-smashing Repugs).

The corporatocracy ALWAYS gets its govt policies into practice.

... the cheese-eating surrender monkeys ( Freedom Fries! ) and the Germans WERE RIGHT. USA/UK should not have invaded Iraq-for-oil.

Didn't the FSA and IS just agree on a non-aggression pact? This is going well already!

We fund the rebels, combined with ISIS they take out Assad, and then ISIS takes out the rebels and owns Syria. Great plan.

the West and Sunnis (eg, Bush's friends in Saudi arabia) want Shiite Assad gone.

Russia and Iran support Assad.

Arming the Kurds with heavy stuff against ISIL will almost certainly enable the Kurds to control their region and hold off Iraqi attempts to take it back, establishing an independent, oil-rich Kurdish state.

Thanks, Repugs, for breaking the Middle East.
