Jude LaCava, of Fox Sports 10 here in Phoenix is reporting that the Wolves are preparing a max offer for Bledsoe.

its a good move if they're giving up on rubio. based on their cap situation right now it would need to be a sign and trade...

unless it means he's expected to play out his 1 year deal and they'll offer him a max next summer when they actually have cap room

Wolves really need Wiggins to blossom and re-sign there long-term. Otherwise they will stay in the lottery mix with no end in sight ...

Missed half a year, will probably be injured next year too but still ranked higher than a guy on his team that had a 20/50/40 season. it's funny and sad. :rollin

Do they have the cap space? Bledsoe isn't worth a lot of assets at all. At best, a three-team trade with Rubio going out makes sense. However, they'll be left with no distributor.

Extremley... Bledsoe is NOT a max guy. I watched him play all the games last season.

What the Suns were offering was more than fair.

Basically, this is Windhorst reporting something that isn't true (per par, tbh (http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11553530/minnesota-timberwolves-offer-eric-bledsoe-max-contract-sign-trade-phoenix-suns)) and then Woj smacking him down 2 hours later. There is no news.

^^^& the afternoon guys on 98.7 FM/Arizona Sports/Gambo is confirming that. The Wolves want to ship my man JJ, Bud and The Rube. The Suns said don't call back unless you're willing to trade The Wig Man.

Ipso facto, the margins are just not there and the cancer continues to spread.

Sounds more like the Suns feel scorned by the Wolves than that they have a blanket policy against S&T. I simply can't imagine that Phoenix wouldn't entertain trading Bledsoe at this point.
