Going to probably get one for kid's bday. Has anyone used or had any experience with the Springfree trampolines?
What about traditional ones? Is there any brand superior to the others?

Triflex olympic trampolines have an elastic mat, dual springs and springs in the frame (thus the name). Not cheap but well worth it if you give a shit about the kid at all.

I have set up and/or taken three different ones, and I can't really differentiate between the parts quality of any of them, and they cost anywhere from 250-400. Obviously they weren't Triflexes like Expert mentioned, but none fell apart. The net cages are kind of a joke tbh

I can't find anything about them. Is that their name? Triflex?

People vastly underestimate the dangers of the trampoline, no joking.

I don't know that I would buy one for my kids, I know I was always doing stupid reckless shit when I was a kid and would expect my sons to be the same way. I nearly broke my neck on a botched backflip, a friend of mine tried to backflip off to the ground and landed akwardly on his side on some stepping stones..another time the shit just gave out and we fell through to the ground (that shit was pretty funny though).

yeah...it's not really something I'm excited about. She's wanted one forever and her mom has been pushing for it as well. The plus is that I know she'll use the hell out of it and it will help her stay in shape for other sports. Plus it's more stuff to keep her off the phone and text. I don't foresee her getting on there with 5 other people and bashing each others' heads in. I've made my case enough about the dangers so if something happens, I'm on record so I can say..."I told you so." Just hope I don't have to say it to a girl in a wheelchair for life. For real.

I'd say offhand a girl is going to be way more cautious with a trampoline than a boy easily. I'm pretty strict about the weight limit on ours, no more than 3 at a time.

I think that's probably right. We live out in the country so it's going to mostly just be her. Where did you purchase yours? What size and shape?
