Curious if you know who was sent.

I doubt anyone more than Pop and/or RC.

It would be nice if Tim could give him some face time - just to show how serious they are. If he can do it for that scumbag Malone then why not Finley?

Would be wise for the Spurs to send the house. The Suns sent all but the kitchen sink. Wonder if Daddy had any comments from the Heat.

Fuck Finley, we don't have to blow him like sorry ass Phoenix did. He wants to come here fine, no, then fuck him. We'll win the championship regardless. If he comes, he might make it easier for us but if he's sucking he'd be a bench warmer for the Spurs.

If Finley's ego requires that the Spurs send Eva Longoria with pictures of his face painted on her breasts then I don't think I want him poisoning my locker room.

To bad. I'm pretty sure that chicken dance would have sealed the deal.

Send Brent Barry and Big Dog to explain how defensively challenged shooters can thrive in the land of San Antonio.

The Suns sent the whole circus to put on a show for him. What a joke.

I'm sure Pop (and maybe RC) will go and be quite candid with him on how they thing he may be able to help and what they will and won't tolerate.

The Spurs don't beg people to come play for them. They tell people what is expected of them and ask if they'll accept the role the Spurs have. If not, good luck on ever winning a Championship.

Spurs sent Dizz G, T Park and mouse.

I think they sent the puffy taco, some mariachi's, a former mayor, a representative from toyota, henry ciesnero's and a few signed spurs jersey's....

I suspect the Spurs presentation will be pointed and thorough. Here's who we are, here's what we do, here's how you fit, here's what can happen.

If they feel he needs to hear from a player, I wouldn't be surprised if Tim was invited to come along.

The Spurs have flirted with Finley before and the financial issues are pretty well set. I suspect that the questions from Finley's side deal almost exclusively with what his role will be, and Pop, R.C., (and maybe Presti? David Chancellor seemed to let something slip this morning about who is putting together this stuff. He said something like "R.C. and P-p-p-p Pop. I can't spill the beans about who's really working this") can best address those issues.

and maybe Presti

I think Presti is actually at the World Championship Qualifiers scouting right now. I know he was at their trials and training in Miami and I think he went to the Dominican Republic for the tourney, but I'm really not sure.

Well, and that would make sense. I might have read too much into Chancellor's statement -- it just seemed really odd.

Ok, that is one funny sight.

Occasionally MB makes me smile, rest of the time he's a clueless neanderthal.

Finley will not come here, cuz im sure he doesnt want to look like he is freeloading his way to a championship. Basically the same reason Kidd didnt want to come here.
Jermaine oneal was more money then freeloadin considering he wouldve lost close to 30mill,and he is way too young to be losin that kinda money for a ring.

Agree with many here. I'd be mildly surprised if it wasn't just Pop and/or R.C. out there. They'll do it simple. Pared down. No bells and whistles. Just the gristle, just the facts. This is what we picture you doing. This is how many minutes we figure we'll get you. This many shots. Guidelines. No need to mention trophies. No need to mention teammates. No need to mention fan support. All that is patently obvious and unstated.
