Derrick Rose dominated every aspect of basketball in his youth, never missing a game and became one of the top-5 McDonalds All American prospects. He entered the NBA with high hopes, which were realized with the ultimate individual accomplishment: 2011 NBA MVP.

But due to Rose's monkeyballing, he had a series of injuries which have put his NBA future in jeopardy. Most prognosticators now agree his ceiling is T-Mac or Grant Hill at best.

Russell Westbrook is following this same path. Having never been injured until the devastating cheap shot that Patrick Beverley laid on him in the 2013 playoff campaign:

He has struggled to regain his full form. He won't let it go:

He is primed for another season-ending injury as the 2014-15 campaign kicks off, since he refuses to put his monkeyball tendencies behind him and continually puts his knees at risk with moronic decision making:

While Derrick Rose never was so belligerent in causing his own injuries, it appears Russell Westbrook has no compunction for putting his career at risk.

So, what is in store for Russ in 2014-15?
