"Tim, I'll marry you even though you like to bite the pillow if you'll share the doe, ray & me."

"And you'll bear my children?"

"We'll have to order out, but, more or less, yes, I will."

"Deal."

"Deal."

Then she reneged and Tim had to shove some more do, ray & me at her.

Terrible, terrible deal. It wasn't even the money that hurt. It's that NBA Title the deal cost Tim.

Never gonna get that one back.

ha, ha.

48.5 is worse. No tread left on those tires, and a crippling blow to the Lakers cap and future. 70 is still quit serviceable.

Dont even know what 70 is.

Just hope, it doesn't have anything to to with Bledsoe.

:lol You're kidding, right? :lol

Either way, they're both bad contracts, but Kobe's is historically terrible. Bledsoe isn't even the worst of the past few years, and doesn't approach Arenas/Kobe territory.

Kobes contract is horrendous.

Bledsoes deal will look pretty good in a couple of years with the cap rising. $14 million per now will be the equivalent to about $12 million (Think Parkers 4 year, $50 million deal)

Parker-11-12 and 12-13 -20.6 % of the cap
Bledsoe 15-16 (cap expected to rise to 66.5) 20.3% of the cap.

The cap could jump much higher after that (possibly $80 million) and Bledsoe's deal will look even more manageable.

Almost as good as the Smush Parker, Kwame Brown and Slava Medvedenko era.

But, it'll only jump for the Suns. I understand.

The + for the Suns in that case is that eventually they can use this contract to trade but contract is bad because Suns were bidding against themselves and no way he is worth 70 over 5 years. At the end, this contract does not help if they want to chase a ring and business wise it's not making a lot of sense either... Bledsoe does not sell a lot of jerseys and fans don't seem to be very attached to this dude.

On the other hand, bb wise he 48.5 is fucking horrible much worst than 70 but Kobe like it or not is the face of Lakers franchise... no way they can afford to lose him. From a business stand point 48.5 is >>>> 70.

When all parameters are considered in a way 70 is worst than 48.5

Probably Bledsoe tbh, at least the snitch is a household name. I can almost guarantee Bledsoe will only play around half the games over the course of his contract because he's an injury prone monkeyballer

:lol 70 mil for a monkeyballer PG who can't pass or shoot the ball

:lol People thinking the Clippers fucked up by trading him

I like Bledsoe, but I'm glad we have guys like Hawes, Farmar, CDR, and Udoh for cheap instead of a $70 million point guard who can't run an offense, would either come off the bench or play out of position, and makes Rondo's shooting look like Curry's :lol

The only difference is CN is a zipperhead, Kobe has 5 NBA Titles and Blood is bone-on-bone.

Other than that, Amy faced Tim up and busted his hole to the rim.

If Bledsoe keeps getting hurt, it'll be seen as a bad deal. If he remains healthy for the most part, play at least 80% of those 410 games (5 seasons), it'll be seen as a steal. $14 mil/yr for a player entering his prime, who averaged 18 and 5, and had a 23-11 record with his starting guardmate Goran, is worth it. When the cap goes up, it'll be even better.

It's a risky deal, for sure, but not necessarily a bad one. Phoenix doesn't have free agents lining up at the door, so you take what you can get.

I still hold out hope he comes in sourpuss/sorehead/niqqer and corrupts Green, like a pseudo Marbury. Maybe challenges Drag for like team honcho. They get into the classic black man/pseudo white man hammer & tong riot. Maybe get thrown into Horny's dog house, $70 million and all.

Motherfuckers.

Sometimes relationships don't work out. Kobe certainly wrote the book on the subject.

Well ain't that quaint. I remember when Neal bent that woman over and broke her hole, your people thought that relationship was worthy of making the bender a multi-millionaire.

John Gambodoro, 98.7 FM a local sports talk guy and with a direct line into Suns HQ reported during his 2-6PM slot today that Blood fully intended to play for the QO. No fuckin' around, he'd made up his mind, either they paid him commensurate with his desires, or, he'd come in the first day of training camp and show his black ass off for nine months, then leave the Suns with bupkis next Summer.
