As such, it took only three questions into Gregg Popovich’s availability during media day on Friday before the subject was broached: Why haven’t the Spurs been able to defend their title, and can they finally do so this year?
His response was predictable.
“Why haven’t we repeated? Because we haven’t,” he said. ”If we do it would be great. If we don’t life will go on and everything’s cool.”
