Markieff received 32mil/4yr extension and Marcus took 20mil/4yr extension.:wow

When Markieff posts 18-8 as a starter and Marcus posts 13-5 as a 6th/7th man for many years, these deals will be among the coveted in the league come raised CAP.

Great deal for Markieff, overpaid for Marcus, but it must have been a double deal anyway. Markieff will live up to that contract easily, very underrated player.

I dont mind Markieff deal... Suns really need him at PF and is a solid solid player.

His brother Marcus -don't like.... tweener with PF filled with his brother (mind that they want to play together) and with 4 players that can play SF. (Tucker, Green, Zoran Dragic and Warren)

If they keep their head straight and work hard (and even harder as they are together) 52/4 for both is not bad I guess.

In the free market Markieff would get more and Marcus less - quite obvious.

Markieff deal is a steal, Marcus got overpaid slightly.

The Suns FO gave the Morris camp a number ($52 mil / 4 yrs) and told them to decide how to fairly split it up. So the twins actually came up with 8 and 5 :lol

Realistically, Kieff should have gotten 9.5 and Marcus deserved 3.5.

Suns said they placed a 52/4 value on the pair and allowed the brothers to determine amounts. Markieff is closer to 4/36-40 and Marcus closer to 4/12-16, but as both develop into starting PF (Markieff) and first forward off bench (Marcus), the value will only increase. Suns have a good staff and system. They turned Frye into a 4/32 dude and Marcus has a similar skill set, but a little less size/length.

These guys are great teammates and locker room guys. I have no problem with these extensions whatsoever.

Nice that we came up with the exact same numbers at the exact same time :lol

Fair enough, X I will defer to your judgment. I always think if you keep the homer glasses off someone that watches a player for 82 plus games should have better insight than someone (like me) who watches PHx about 20. Problem is as fans we tend to overrate our stars and be overly harsh on our role player and scrubs.

There's undeniable evidence that these two play better together than apart, so keeping Marcus around is worth it if Markieff continues to develop.

Yep, and there's value to having a SF/PF who hits 40% from range locked up at 5-per, which at present is less than mid-level, and will only become jncreasibgly so with CAP escalation. Modern NBA requires multiple 40% from range shooters and passers. Both are solid in this area.

That is an okay deal for Markieff. They must be keeping Marcus in case they need parts later on. The Suns want to keep that Doublemint money rolling in.

For that combined price, I would have been happy to see them on the Spurs in 2015. I guess it's just as well for the team to gun for a top-flight big man, though.

Shit, it might be worth it for her to marry Tim and divorce him again. Duncan's new edge is pretty cool.

Sure, it's easy once you throw up all over Miami beach. Then you can function again. That pesky 6 though will roil that tummy all over again, well, given half-a-chance. That's what I'm here for:::to make sure your people give it that chance.
