It's was nice having HEB bags when I was going to school in Philly. Just kind of a way to represent the home state. Same thing is true when I use my Philly bag here.

Yeah, I take Wal-Mart bags to HEB, HEB bags to Whole Foods, Whole Foods' bags to Spourts and so on. I like the diversity. HEB also sells Spurs-themed bags here, so that's a nice touch for those of us who are fans of the Sliver and Black.

Have to pay for paper, but they are available. That was big when Austin first made the change, but now, reusable bags or no bags is pretty much the standard.

No, I wish though...love Portland. I live in Long Beach, CA and they've been on that ban for a almost 2 years. Well, it wasn't a complete ban so I take that back. It was you pay 10 cents if you so choose to get the plastic bags.
