Spurs 4 The Win

1. Spurs vs Heat Game 5 2014 (most fired up crowd in Spurs history)
2. Spurs vs Pheonix Game 1 2008 (2OT instant classic, would be #1 if it werent for how awesome 5 was)
3. Spurs vs Golden State Game 1 2013 (2OT, crowd was fired up)
4. Spurs vs OKC Game 6 2014 (Another OT classic and nothing is sweeter than beating those classless floppers)
5. Spurs vs New Orleans Game 7 2008 (Shutting up Chris Paul and the NO fans on the road in a game 7 was pretty sweet)

Honorable Mentions:
Spurs vs Memphis Game 5 2011 (Insane game and crowd despite losing the series)
Spurs vs Miami Game 1 2013 (Tony Parker Buzzer Beater was incredible)
Spurs vs Pheonix Game 5 2007 (A late Bowen 3 point shot delivered us a title)

You pretty much covered it but I seem to recall two comeback games against the clippers in the 2nd round 2012 and grizz in the 3rd round 2013 that looked over and the Spurs pulled it out. Pretty exciting.

I think it might be the best basketball game I've ever seen in person (and I've been to well more than 100 playoff games and many more regular season games).

Dirk and Tim at the heights of their powers, with everything on the line, and both playing exceptional games. The Mavs with the huge early punches and the big early lead; Manu willing the Spurs all the way back from a seemingly insurmountable deficit. A Game 7 overtime.

Like I say, I wish the outcome had been different, but that game was an absolutely underrated epic and as exciting as the NBA gets.

Manu leading the charge, hitting that big 3 then following up with a brainfart pretty much sums up his career

2013 Finals Game 1 and Game 6 were both heart stoppers. Just because the Spurs lost Game 6 and the series overall doesn't make them less exciting.

Also, as already mentioned 2006 Game 7 vs. Mavs.

I couldn't enjoy anything that postseason watching the Spurs give up big early leads and points in the paint because Timmy couldn't guard it by himself. Everything about that lost season leaves a knot in my stomach. Granted, they finally started to figure out how to play that lineup in game 7, but Manu hadn't quite mastered power forward, and it cost them.

If the thread is about exciting, I'm going to count some losses

1) Game 6 vs. okc this year - beating them on their court, with everyone saying we were going the 2012 route again and with Manu Tim and Kawhi having some of the most clutch plays of the season all in one game, made this one of my favorite games ever

2) Game 6 vs. Miami 2013 - Fuck.

3) Game 1 vs. Phoenix 2008 - Almost had a heart attack when Tim made that 3, huge props to Finley for getting us into OT in the first place with a really clutch 3

4) Game 5 vs. Miami - I'm sure this would rank higher had I actually been at the game, but personally I already knew the series was over. Although that one stretch that gets capped off by Manu hitting a 3 and Mike Breen saying "what an avalanche by San Antonio" gave me the chills and still kinda does

5) Game 1 vs. Miami 2013 - that game was so dead even in a series that was dead even, and Tony got that game winner off with like 1 millisecond left. Amazing

Honorable Mentions: that 24 point comeback vs the Clippers in 2012, I remember being really into the Suns Spurs series of 2007 so maybe one from there (can't remember a specific game), and game 3 vs. Memphis 2013.

Edit: Game 7 vs. Dallas in 06 was fucking crazy. I remember I shut the game off after a little since it was such a blow out, and came back to see Manu hit that monster 3. Can't believe we lost though, we probably would have gotten a ring that year. Oh well..

Not in any order
Manu 3 06
OKC game 6 2014
Game 1 Finals 2013
Game 3 against dallas 2014
Game 1 against PHX 2008

Would add game 5 and game 1 2014 against heat but dunno what to bump really. And no, I cant include 6 :cry

But if I had to pick a sixth it would be Game 6 of the 07 series against Phoenix when Ginobili played probably the greatest game of his career in clinching a title.
