Based on Kawhi's defensive value alone

He is > Manu, Tony and Timmy

Which year? Last Finals win was Leonard. The one before that it was Parker. All the ones before that it was Duncan.

Except he isn't Aminu, he's Leonard, and he plays both side of the ball which is rare in this league.

If you're in doubt, just ask no lyf's opinion. If he disagrees, you're on the right track

A better idea would be before reading a thread made by apalisoc, is to not read it at all.

Kawhi freaking guarded KWhistle and Lebron, and did as good as a human could on both. Maybe prime Manu gives him some trouble, but he'd destroy TP in every way.

I think Kawhi is already > Manu + Parker

Certainly he has the potential to be the 4th greatest Spur ever, Robinson, Duncan, Gervin, Leonard, together in no particular order

As of this day, give me Kawhi over Manu..... and a year from now give me Kawhi over Tony too.

Doesn't change the fact that manu and tony helped the spurs get 4 rings.

2 outta the 3 needed Manu on the team to win, and that's the way it's gonna be.

I was hoping in this GIF that Ayres and Baynes would magically morph in to one player.

Team them up with TP at PG and Manu as sixth man, and that tops any other franchise other than the Lakers - though they've had a lot longer to piece together all-time teams.

No way the Spurs win any of the titles without Manu tbh. He was huge in the Lakers series (arguably the second best Spur in that series).
