Good stuff. I rarely see that many Pop quotes in an article.

The most interresting line:

“That’s very possible. I always said that [he'd leave with Duncan], because it’s kind of a funny line. It seems pretty logical and smart to do that. I know where my bread is buttered,” Popovich said with a laugh. “But I basically made the same commitments to Manu [Ginobili] and to Tony [Parker] that when they signed contracts, they wanted to know if I’m going to be here and I tell them I am, so it’s pretty tough to go ahead and leave.”

NP. Ace snuck up on me after I checked the list. I thought I was safe lollygagging a little with a Post article, but our men are everywhere.

Pop thought about retiring with Duncan, but the thought of leaving the team's near future with Parker and Manu was far too scary even for him.

Uh, Manu's probably out the door with Tim. 37 is REALLY OLD for a shooting guard.

Enough with the faggy "I'm too cool for school, or to appreciate what is about to end" responses.
