Well I was impressed. He appears to have the total package. The thing that really stood out was his attitude, yep....cool!

So lets be realistic, can he and his Bulldogs beat Auburn next week? Well in 2013 they lost 20-24 in Auburn, in 2012 they beat the Tigers 28-10 at home. Hell, in 2011 they lose 34-41 once again in Auburn.

I see no logical reason at all why the Bulldogs can't win this game. Anyone have one?

If they do win and Prescott plays a major role, he should be in the serious Heisman talk.

The hell with "Thrill" Hill, he was just a tease.

Prescott is already one of the Heisman contenders.

MSU has played Auburn tough the last few years. Auburn won last year with a late TD and even during Cam's championship season, they won at MSU only 17-14.

Right now, Auburn is the better team overall mainly because their defense has been so good this year. Obviously their offense is still potent, but their defense is now really good as well.

MSU's front 7 has been very good and played a great game against A&M shutting them down until a couple of garbage TDs late.

Right now, these are two top 5 teams and even though the game is at MSU, I think Auburn is a slight favorite since they're clearly the best team in the country.

We all know Prescott is a Heisman contender, that's why I said "serious" like in the front runner.

Where do you get Auburn being "clearly" the best team in the nation? That both beat LSU but MSU did it on the road.

There is no real reason to think MSU can't beat Auburn at home.....none.

Both Mississippi teams tied for third, how cool is that?

Auburn pounded a good Arkansas team, won at a good Kansas St team, and dismantled LSU as well. Auburn's defense has been better than MSU so far. It's gonna be a close game. But no doubt Auburn has clearly been the best team so far in the country. Their defense is alot better than last year and they still went to the title game with last year's defense.

Very cool since it's never happened, especially for someone like me who was born and raised in Mississippi.

Auburn went to the title game last year because of a couple....did I really see that...plays.

You know better than to put too much into.....well if they beat......right? MSU has played Auburn tough as of late and it's looking like this is the best of those teams at home.

I grew up on the Gulf Coast whereas the blues are more popular in the central and northern parts of the state. I did grew up less than 2 hours from New Orleans.

True, but they were still a very dangerous team and almost beat a loaded FSU squad in the title game. They're better this season and historically have done well against MSU though its been a lot of close games. But right now, both offenses are loaded while Auburn clearly has the better defense up to this point. I think its gonna go down to the wire, but I'm gonna favor Auburn and their defense to make more plays than the MSU defense. Its gonna be a great game for sure. College Gameday will be in Starkville for the game, just a week after being in Oxford for the Bama-Ole Miss game. Usually the state of Alabama makes headlines in the SEC, but right now its Mississippi. Pretty cool.

New Orleans more about jazz than them blues. Only a handful of blues cats out of Louisiana.

All the NFL picks you've been wrong about (under .500 three straight years), the infamous Lions/Rams "Lock of the Week," the Andrew Luck thread from the Chiefs/Colts playoff game, K-State/WVU two years ago, Aggy/South Carolina this season, etc., etc.

In before "those were Mason's picks, it's only week x, I was soooo close, all the other sailors were doing it, etc."

Why ignore....

I picked 43 of 46 college games right, down there somewhere.

This is my first season of giving out my legit $$$ plays on the NFL forum, only a fool wouldn't see the difference. As of right now...

Chargers
Indy
Niners
Packers
Broncos
Bengals
Seattle

are 20-10-2 ATS

Time now to jump on that system

Cool to see you care so much about me, when I couldn't care less about you:hat

Now that Gurley is out of the picture and everyone is down on Winston if MSU beats Auburn and Prescott has even a decent game, the Heisman will be his to lose.

He's overrated tbh, some of his throws were some chimpbrained decisions. But he's got a good story and his daddeh's out of prison now :(

It's his Heisman to lose, which he could vs Bama/Ole Miss.
