When asked for his thoughts on the Knicks current roster, Anthony didn't exactly give his teammates a ringing endorsement. Here's what Anthony told ESPN New York:

"For this season, right now, we have what we have," Anthony said when asked if he feels he has the help he is looking for. "We're going to deal with that. That was a big discussion with me and Phil -- that was one of my things."

"We have what we have" is something people say when they're trapped on a desert island with a couple of coconuts and a pet crab, though perhaps Melo feels like he's on his own island of sorts. Either way, the 2014-2014 Knicks should just be a bundle of fun to watch.

Has to be frustrating watching Cleveland get completely transformed in one offseason while that Knick roster has been ass for years and years.

And Phil is like most white men:::see a disaster and run right to it. "Why didn't somebody tell me?"

Didn't the Knicks go on some very good run when Marshmello was out for a couple weeks - month?

No, Fabbs, you're thinking of when Kobe went out just before you lit out after Gasol & Nash a couple months before Theodore let Amy take his cookie & 5.

Phil suckered in Melo :lol

From a living standpoint, he's set.

Dude's whole life is in New York and he has a fat ass contract to boot.

The Knicks are the knicks. They'll suck from here to eternity so who cares. Get paid, do your time, retire and blow your money in two years. :lol

Sad to see the Laker fans shit on Phil when he's the only reason they've won any titles in 30 years. It's low.
