TP9 was great...as was KL...if not for 3 quarters of lazy defense and the "no fastbreak clause" (only KL had this one fastbreakish basket and he even hesitated there) in combination with Alba chrashing the boards (bad combination as fastbreaks would kill chrashing teams), this would have been a blowout win, as it should have been.

Oh, so they didn't allow fastbreaks? Totally pointless game, then. What's next, NFL preseason games will be flag football? :lmao

I'm pretty sure they were not allowed to run fast breaks and when you want to get the halfcourt flow going, it makes sense in a scrimmage.
As I said, thats suicide when the other teams crashes the board with 3-4 people.
Another theory would be: In the NBA its all about getting back. Not much crashing, not many fastbreakchances at all? Maybe the Spurs just were not used to so much crashing and forgot to counter it with fastbreaks.
(but no, when they break up 3on2s or just dont play those passes ahead, it surely is due to coaching)

What's this about a no fastbreak clause? First time I'm hearing about it.
