I've wanted a mp3 player for a while, but I'm not about to drop 300 clams on a Ipod. And the shuffles quality is shit. So here it is... I'm gonna pick one up this weekend. Its so damn cute.
Its got fm radio, voice recorder, clock display, and a sleep timer. That one gig black beauty is the one I'm eyeing.

How many songs?
SpursFanDan
08-25-2005, 08:04 PM
250 (MP3) or 500 (WMA)
10 hours of playback on a single charge.
I don't like that you can't go to specific songs. If you don't like ipod, look at the Rio's. They'll run you about 160-180 for the 6gig player. You can organize it just like the ipod.
Having a shuffle or one like it seems like getting an mp3 player just for the sake of having one.

I wanted to show a gadget that was alittle more original than most mp3 players that are out.

I think I have an ipod somewhere around here. Too bad most of them sound like crap when you put them on some nice headphones not them puny ass lil ear bud pieces o crap they come with. I guess it's impossible to have the best of both worlds. Last I heard was another company made an attachment for the ipod to supply the extra juice needed for some headphones with sack. Will look for my ipod now. Thanks for the reminder.

But a cube is not boring?
How about a triangle.
How about pair shape?
LOL, who cares what shape it is or how small it is.

I absolutely love my iPod Shuffle! I bought it the moment it went on sale and use it constantly.

True, I'd take one that was the shape of the female genitalia, since we're on the subject of shapes. But thats a whole other subject.

Sorry but this is IMHO the best player on the market.
It's $199.00 since it just got re-designed. It was going for $144.00 before. It simply has everything. And it sounds GREAT!

SpursWoman and LittleSpurswoman both have one. It uses regular AA batteries and can play for 45 hours on a single one. You can use NMHD recharable batteries with it which means you can listen almost non-stop with out haveing to plug the player in to charge. Now it comes with only 1 gig of memory, but I have found that to be the sweet spot for just carrying enough tunes around to work out, take trips, or just listen at work. Yes having 20 gigs is nice, but honestly, you simple can't listen to all that in one day.
This player also has a built in FM radio which sounds PERFECT. It comes with 20 presets and has the ability to record the radio while you listen to it at the touch of a button. The player is pretty small and light weight, and has a durable feeling case. It also has a neck strap or arm band included. The arm band has another protective plastic shell that fits over the player doubling it's durability.
Here are all the specs...
Color display for music and playback information
Built-in FM tuner with FM recording; integrated voice recorder
Enhanced 3D audio (supports SRS WOW) for impressive sound
High-speed USB 2.0 interface for blazing transfer speeds
Sport design with antiskip protection and built-in sport clip for easy portability Up to 45 hours playback with 1 AA battery
PlaysForSure compatible
Upgradable to future formats and features
Compatible with PC

I've bought one of the older models and a newer one now. They have referb ones on ebay for like $119 even. They really look and feel solid. Not to many buttons and pretty easy to navigate, even with sweaty hands! :lol

I think the Samsung YP-MT6Z 1 GB Digital Audio Player is the best buy right now.

It's a great deal, only $130. I might just buy one. I like that it has over 42 hours playback time. I'll take that over the mobiblu which has 10 which probably means 6.

I owned IRiver H10. Very nice sound. Looks nice. Picture quality is not great.
Returned it due to frequent freezing. I own a Rio Carbon 5 gb. I am very happy with it.The price is better than IRiver's.
