I think it's very premature. I get he hasn't exactly fit so far, and his play hasn't reflected his pay, but it's early. It looks as if it's the complete opposite of what people think, and that they're concerned about the now, and getting the ship right. I think Bevell should've put him in midfield more, try to get him downfield in space more, but they stuck with the non-stop bubble screen game. Their playcalling with Harvin was a little weird in the Dallas game, that's for sure. They tried running him way too much, and didn't take any shots down the field with him. Like you said, they threw a lot of bubble screens with him too.

Bevell is the O.C. I like Bevell a lot actually. Everything was at the line of scrimmage for Percy for the first five games this year. I thought there should've been some mix up, and they should've had him in the slot and downfield more. The few times he was downfield good things happened. Players just had to remain stationary and he would come right to them. Thus, 0 yards last game. Jace Amaro has better stats than him, that's unacceptable. But, obviously there was a lot more to the story, as more information came out with locker room issues. Regardless of our record they've been shopping him so who knows if there were issues in regards to how he was to be used.

These problems were documented in Minnesota and in college, apparently Pete believed he could handle him. He does have a knack for dealing with these types of players, but apparently this was one that is unable to corral.
