The Spurs have missed him a lot already. He's absolutely crucial to the success of this team. Cojo just can't generate the same offense.
There's going to be a significant drop-off. You can already tell in the pre-season.

I just hope Patty is ok, having a boulder inside the colon for so long is not funny.

Pretty sure he's going to be at most of the games. Was it his towel-waving arm that got hurt?

Pretty sure we'll be fine in the regular season, considering the quality of opponent we'll be playing.

Cojo will be fine and can totally generate some offense, not like Patty but he can do wonders. Hell, just look at the little bit he did once Parker went down in Game 6. Nigga put Ninja turtle on ice

Patty will be back in time for the second half or a month or so before the playoffs, they will be fine.

Cojo did fine in game 6 it gives me hope.
I already miss Patty. I was really looking forward to see his continuation after that Finals run, and now that will be significantly delayed. Not to mention the missed games, but this injury is surely preventing him from hitting the gym, staying conditioned, and trying to build upon the physical improvements that he made last offseason. As long as he can come back by February and brings that three-point shot along on a new healthy shoulder, we'll be fine.
As for CoJo...I don't expect any surprises. He is a known quantity at this point. He will run the offense decently and only shoot when he is forced to. His jump-shot will be shaky. He'll play decent defense and be able to fill the minutes, but I really think the time for Joseph to break out has come and gone. I'd be happy to be wrong about that.

Dude, it's Patty's SHOULDER that is injured. Unless his primary aerobic exercise is walking on his hands, he'll be in great physical shape when he comes back. Nothing is wrong with his legs.

Yeah, by the looks of all his Instagram posts, he's actually been quite the gym rat.

Who?

I guess you're right that he can still do the normal cardio and probably other stuff in a limited capacity, but I'd imagine he's not lifting weights or able to do the calisthenics he would normally do while he is rehabbing that shoulder, not to mention being unable to stay conditioned to playing at full speed for 4-6 months.
I don't, by any means, think Patty is dogging it...I'm sure he's working extra hard on his comeback. But I bet even he's frustrated he can't be prepping for this season like he did the last.

Uncalled travel was made up for with Ibaka's non-called goaltend in game 6.

February. Official prognosis said 7 month recovery, and the Spurs are conservative, if anything. He'll miss July, August, September, October, November, December AND January.

Does SPURS still have interest in Bo McCalebb? He is short but explosive and there was rumour in 2012 that SPURS wanted to recruit him. He is available now.

Patty will be back in Jan and we'll be fine in the meantime. To start the season we will beat bad and mediocre teams, lose to good ones, and really not much matters until SPAM as long as we keep racking up the aforesaid wins over poor teams.
CoJo may have saved our season last year - he came in and attacked OKC after they had beaten us down badly. He reminded the team that Ibaka isn't invulnerable with that huge slam. Rarely do garbage minutes matter, but that day they did, and it was CoJo who made them count.
