There sits FSU playing a schedule on a whole lesser level than what SEC/Big12/Pac12 teams play. And they are ranked as high as they are.

The game needs a Big12 team in the final four.

I think you got it all wrong about most SEC fans though. I hate Ole Miss, I hate LSU, I hate Alabama, I hate Auburn. BUT...if a lot of SEC teams make bowl games...and win those bowl games....Miss. St. gets a huge check in the mail. (especially a national championship win).

I'm a Miss. State fan dude....it's not like we're ever going to catch Alabama in national championships (or even win one ourselves). Of course I'll pull for Alabama in a national championship game....it's just more $$$$ in da bank. Shit, we've added on to our stadium this year...all courtesy of Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers National Championship money.

There is no "nation" on earth not even the rest of the USA that can match the SEC on the track when it comes to a quantity of quality speed. Yep, not even Jamaica. Those are the kinds of athletes the SEC recruits, it spills over to the football teams. An over abundance of speedy athletes. Those SEC defenses full of big fast athletes.

Big 12 is being hurt by ISU, TT, UT, and KU this season. Those teams have been so bad, its dragging the conference rating below the PAC-12 and even the ACC according to College Football-Reference.

I misspoke about UT being so bad. They're 62 on CFR's team poll with TT at 84, ISU at 96, and KU at 107

Apparently the SEC bias is strong in their mathematical formula since top 5 teams are from the SEC with Ole Miss being number one and Georgia 5th.

Even Tebow has won more playoff games than any Big 12 QBs.

Then it should have guaranteed him better job security in the NFL than Vince Young. Did it?

Kingsbury
BJ Symons
VY
Colt
Weeden
Tannehole
Chrissy Sims
Mizz qb what's his face

Peyton went a while before winning a playoff game. Rex Grossman went to the superbowl throwing 20 interceptions that year. Schaub has a playoff win. TJ Yates has a playoff win. Because you have a playoff win doesn't mean you are a good QB.

You damn well know that I, you, and the rest of the thread were talking about Big 12 QBs in the pros. You wanna stick with the new college playoffs??? Cause the way it's going...the SEC has a lot better chance than the Big 12 of getting their first playoff win.

How? The whole argument is that these QBs in this group have playoff wins and those don't. It is being implied that it is because you must be a good QB to win a playoff game. Which is not necessarily the case as shown by the QBs I listed. Those QBs were surrounded by good talent elsewhere on the team.

The bottom of the Big 12 is bad with Kansas, TT, and Iowa St. That hurts the depth big time, plus with Okie St and Texas being average at best, that leaves the conference as top heavy.

They're a really really good team. Hopefully not punished for losing a 3 point game on the road against a top 5 caliber team.

Patterson is a TCU alum. He could have left a long time ago. Now his work has led this program to a power conference and a chance at a national championship. His goal should be to not only win championships, but eventually host home games at Jerry World just like SMU did in the 1980s with their powerhouse program before the death penalty.

But since Baylor is rated lower than TCU, and therefore less likely to make the final four to get into the playoff, the conference will award "co-champions" so that the committee can choose which Big 12 team they think is better.

The best part coming from*ESPN's coverage of this is:

Only if TCU and Baylor are both left out of the top four would the league acknowledge Baylor's head-to-head win over TCU.

In other words the conference is saying: If TCU is rated in the top four, we'll forget Baylor beat them. But if TCU and Baylor fail to make the top four, we'll remember Baylor beat them.
