On whether he thinks the team is ready for the season to start:

"As a team, maybe. Individually I feel like I need 17 more games (laughs) to feel more confident and to get where I want to be. As you can tell, I'm not quite there yet. So I'm excited about these games. I need to play, I need to try to do things and get in a rhythm."

So, you don't think shooting 5-of-26 is going to cut it when the games count?

Umm, probably not. But the good side is that in preseason last year I shot like 68 (percent) and then I started the season at 29 (percent), so I'm trying to reverse the cycle. [He actually shot 20-of-34 last preseason (58.8 percent) and his valley in November seven games into the season had him at 39 percent before he started righting his course.]

We all know he needs rhythm more than anything and he will come along in the regular season. As always the risk is that (minor) injuries prevent him from getting into rhythm ... I have faith.

Manu's rhythm comes when he fakes out defenders and penetrates and makes passes or layups. Then his jumpers start falling. Nowadays he gets lazy and just shoots off balance or spur of the moment 3pt shots or lots of long jumpers like he's the new kobrick. Manu no longer drives to the basket much at all which was what made him so good as a finisher. Manu can be much better, he just chooses to bottom out.

He's laughing at himself for struggling? He wasn't laughing when the Spurs told him he couldn't play for Oldgentina... Trade him.

Read the freaking interview. Dude's getting old. He can't do what he used to do.

Ginobili is how you say, 37 years old. I doubt he could go all '05 Finals Mode whenever he damn well chooses.

That dunk didn't win the championship. It could have a negative impact on the chances of another one though.

Is that when the injury happened? I thought he was battling it all year and just had surgery over the summer like Patty

I always thought he gets in a rhythm after several games with a lot of turnovers?

Na he's saying we can't win with some hero turning the ball over 14 times in Games 6 & 7.

You also can't win with that bum shooting 20% from the field and 11% from 3, so far in the 2014-2015 season

"DO YOU FEEL BAD FOR PLAYING SO BAD?"

We rely on good Manu to show up which is a failed strategy. Without Mills it would have ruined us.

So instead of moving past the fragile freeloader we are stuck with him....and he will be a huge liability.
