Or is it just another case of overrating the black americans of the team? This pre-season shows how helpless they are as leaders that have to come up with ideas during the game. Face it, Splitter, Mills, Ginobili and Diaw were 80% of the title last year. The system (also not american) is the other 20%

Kawhi? The team have been really bad without him, 8-6 without him/19-0 run when he came back last season, Spurs 98.2 defensive rating, 3rd best record when he plays, to 102.5 11th without him.

I love all the Spurs that contributed last year. Diaw and Mills were amazing! But make no mistake, if they didn't have Duncan and Kawhi that team would have lost in the first round. If they even made the playoffs. Duncan is the man!
