It's between them, the SeaRefs, and the Patriots several years ago. But the edge probably goes to the Broncos.

Since the NFL has been around since 1920, I doubt it.

don't forget Ravens not being called for offensive holding the entire postseason in their recent win. the NFL wanted to send Ray Ray out on top and relinquish Modell's soul from hell iirc.

85 Bears

The 85 Bears were so superior to everyone else that season.

The classic....run the ball/play monster defense/win the TO battle.

:lol Never mind the fact that the Niners got every call and no-call in that Super Bowl, AND Roger killed the lights to let them back into the game.

still nothing like the Ravens hookup. besides who knows if Roger ordered the lights going out. could've been Eddie D making some calls to his Lousiana contacts again, or just New Orlean's third world shittiness.

What Ravens hookup? There was the uncalled PI on Torrey Smith, Akers' flop call, Sopoaga's uncalled late hit on Flacco, all sorts of uncalled illegal contact by Culliver, etc. Oh, and the Niners aren't even in that Super Bowl without Bowman getting away with PI on Roddy White in the NFC title game.

did you just google that? i don't remember any of that, what i get for drinking beers while you were sipping longjing tea.

besides, no offensive holding for the Ravens while there were clear cases of it. you must've been rooting for them since they beat the Broncos though, it's understandable.

i actually got no beef with Ravens tbh, i used to live around Baltimore. worst SB i recall was the 2005 Steelers vs. Seattle, now that shit was hilarious.

It does seem like the elite QBs get superstar calls. I remember the refs trying to keep the Packers in the game against NY Giants (2012 playoffs). I also remember Drew Brees getting a roughing the passer penalty against the 49rs last year.

Nah, I remember the bullshit calls clearly because I was rooting for the Ravens (Ray Lewis is one of my all-time favorite players) and I was pissed about them :lol

Nothing comes close to the atrocity of Superbowl XL. There were 3 criminal calls that took points off the board for Seattle, and it's the most obvious agenda I've ever seen. SB XLIII was decided on a faulty play as well (Holmes never got the second foot down--it was on top of his first foot). In SB XXX (A steeler loss), O'Donnell was obviously on the take--it's not even really a question.

All Steeler SB's or playoff runs have an element of sketchiness to them

The worst call I've ever seen was that ...the tuck rule. I'd never heard of ...the tuck rule...nobody ever had.

The second worst call was that OBVIOUS holding on Crabtree in the SB vs Ravens. No doubt that cost the Niners the game.

The league always coddles to Peyton. They've basically changed the game drastically because of his failures. After the 2003 AFC Title game and 2013 Super Bowl.

The Saints were clearly the better team in that game against the Niners. They dominated the Niners for four quarters. Silly Saints turnovers kept that game close. The penalty call was justice because the superior team deserved to win that game.

Its sickening how much people cater to this jerk. I still remember Brees getting screwed out of the 2009 MVP despite having better passing numbers than the ego maniac. At least Brees got the Super Bowl MVP that same season by outclassing Peyton in that game.

Don't forget how he cried to get the overtime rules changed after choking against the Chargers in the playoffs a few years ago. Then he started crying about the new OT rules after their loss to the Seahawks this year.

Damn, this thread is straight out of the ocean, tbh..

Anybody that consistently watches Broncos games knows that they're virtually always on the wrong end of officiating, tbh, particularly in the playoffs..

It's not about the Broncos. It's about Peyton and how much the league tries to cater to him. I've got no issues with the Broncos. They have a great team around Peyton.

Even before Peyton, i remember some ridiculous calls that they got, but since Peyton, they have gotten a ton of ref support.
