Anyone know what the starting lineups will be with Kawhi and Splitter out? Rotations? I'm thinking KA will get some PT in his first ever NBA game now.

I wanted Kawhi and his D to put a number on Parsons, now Chandler will go off as he often did against the Spurs

I think Baynes starts, Green at the 3 and Belinelli at the 2, Diaw and Manu stay in the bench lineup.

I actually think Anderson might see a fair bit of game time while Kawhi is out just to get some size and length on the floor.

i hope Belli doesn't start, it will be hard seing him on defense with Monta and Parsons as their wings, i think it's a game to start Manu or even Cojo...

can't understand how the Spurs didn't bring an upgrade to our wing situatuon with adding another wing to our rotation who can cuntribute and at least be serviceable on defense, it's dangerous when beli is your fourth wing, not every season you can get away with it, it's still not to late to call Ray Allen...

Throw the Rookie Anderson in the deep end early and see if he sinks or swims. Alternatively Green can start at SF and Manu can make a token appearance with the starting lineup at SG. Doesn't really matter, depends what mood the mad scientist is in. And nobody can predict that!

I hope Pop shows some balls and plays Anderson instead of Crapinelli. Parsons and Monta will shit on Marco the moment he steps on the court.

Lol @ the idea of Pop throwing rookie KA into the starting lineup on opening night...have we been watching the same organization over the years? I'd be absolutely shocked if that happens.

Lineup will probably be Parker/Green/Belinelli/Diaw/Duncan. Wouldn't be surprised if Pop gives Manu the start though, especially considering how off he's looked so far...might try putting him into the starting lineup to give him a jolt a la Game 5 of the 2013 Finals.

Do you actually believe Anderson is a better defender than Belinelli? And yes, I do realize Belinelli is terrible. Anderson against Monta Ellis would be cruel.

I think everyone should keep their expectations in check until we have our full team together and healthy. We are looking at a loss tonight unless some guys step up and play better than expected.

NO KL
NO Splitter
NO Patty
Rusty Manu

Not looking good.

Usually I would expect him to replace Splitter with Baynes or Ayres, but neither they nor TD is gonna be able to check Dirk. Anyone other than Diaw/Splitter against the German is just stupid. I don't think Pop really cares though, I could see us starting with Ayres on Dirk and Beli on Parsons or even Monta if Pop is feeling especially sassy.

Amazing that KL's eye infection persists. Some kind of antibiotic resistant bug?

Watching NBA TV and they showed Kawhi out on the court shooting around in his basketball gear. Why even shoot around if you aren't going to play?

To get shots in. The only reason he can't play is because it is contagious. Last thing we need is for half the team to get it.

...although it might be worth it just to give it to the Mavs.
