Robert Vaden and Fuquan Edwin were drafted by other teams, so it looks like they were just contingencies in case the planned affiliate players went elsewhere.

Spurs drafted another big man in Keith Wright from Harvard, so it may bode well for Anderson's playing on the perimeter when he is assigned.

Spurs looking toward the future. It's underrated draft picks like this that are often overlooked. Spurs already building a team around the future face of the franchise and his impending max deal. I like it.

Quite frankly, Baynes is one of the better backup centers in the league. They keyword here is backup.

Damning Baynes with faint praise. I like it. Quite frankly, he also looks like shit on occasion, too, and has little upside at his age, probably. He is what he is. He's good for a 2.1 million dollar guy that is familiar to the team, but The Spurs were unwilling to pay much more, with good reason, IMHO.
