I was at blockbuster off I-10 and who do you think was in the X Box game section of Block Buster? It was 5 minutes till closing time and the Manager who knows me as the reservoir dog guy , I have the record for most times ever rented at that location, it's at 19 times, It would be more but I rented it another 7 times at the Fredricksburg location by the medical center.

any way back to my story, Not only did I not freak out , and not bug him for some sort of auto, like most of folks in here would have done? But I acted as though he was just another 7 foot black man renting the new GTA game :lmao

But I will say this. I made sure he saw my Dallas Maverick cap. As he drove off in some sort of white SUV.

That's my story, tell me yours, you had a brush with a Spur, or anyone else in the NBA?

If not? just make something up.

Thank You

I am sure Michael Madsen would cut off your ear if he knew about this.

Why do you always talk about Black Spur players?

I am sure Rasho went to Block buster at one time also.

I guess a black man can't rent a video Game w/o it making the news....

Holy cow, how could I forget this?

Three years ago, my friend and I went to a salon together. She got her cut first, then while I got mine, she went and got a pedicure. So I really liked my cut and color and the stylist was like "Let's go show your friend!" So we went to where they do the pedicures, which, apparently, is supposed to be all curtained off and quiet and relaxing... So I threw open the curtain and said, "Look at me! I'm fabulous!" :lol Didn't realize at the time (because I didn't really look at him) the man a few seats away from my friend was Bruce, but I do remember him laughing at me. :lol

During the '99 playoff run, my dad was buying me tix to a game of the portland seriesand I got to choose between game 1 or game 2 and of course I choose game 1 and not game 2, the memorial day miracle game, but thats another story. Anyways, after game 1 we went to Taco Cabana on I10 and DeZavala and DRob walked in with some white guy. Only the white guy ordered and they say down. Dave just talked to him while he ate (kinda of wierd).
I've seen AD @ HEB, and I also played with him and Derick Dial @ the gym I goto and also played with Ron Mercer and Jarren Jackson

I used to be a manager at the Sony Store in the Outlet mall in San Marcos. I sold stuff to AD, D Rob, Terry Cummings, Sean Elliot and met Tim Duncan but did not sell them anything. Out of all of those Elliot was the most fun to meet. I also met Robert Horry at a ----- club in SA, he was one of the coolest celebs I have ever met.

I ran into Dirk Nowitzki at the Miami airport on the way back from Madrid. It was the day after Game 6 of the '03 championship. I was wearing a black Spurs practice tee and sitting one bay over from him in the waiting area but he refused to look up. One of his entourage leaned over and whispered something in his ear and pointed toward me but he woudn't budge. :lol

I was eating at a Mcdonalds on I-10 and Dezavala and then I saw him. He walks in with his kids running around everywhere. He tells them to cut it out and asked them what they wanted. After they ordered, the kids went straight to the play house and he sat down right across from me . Their was a bunch of people in the restraunt and they all basically waited their turn to ask for an autograph and he graciausly gave everybody in the place one. The manager even got a picture of himself and all the employees with David which is still in a frame hangin on the wall even today. it was a sereal sight. I got to shake his huge hand and said hi. He is an incredibly nice man. All this happend during the 2003 playoffs during the seattle series and he was hurt and had to stay behind while the team was on the road.

He is seen often in that area (NW around 10 and dezavala). I was his waiter at that IHOP right there about 3 years ago, and I took his groceries out at HEB at 281 and 1604 in his rookie season. (I got 10 times the tip for taking his groceries out as I did for serving him, but his wife was with him at IHOP and she, as I understand it, is to put it diplomatically "tighter with money".
