Part of it, obviously..
When you replace Patty/Diaw(or Tiago if he comes off the bench)/Belinelli with Daye/Baynes/Joseph as the bench unit, it's kind of expected:lol..

Diaw has been in the bench for 4/5 games and is averaging more assists than Manu... Who had a spectacular 0 assists tonight smh

yeah, he led the bench (and the team alongside Kawhi) with +2 tonight, but it's clearly not enough with such a poor surrounding cast... Even Marco helps, despite his awful defense.. he can at least make shots.

exactly. So using "Ayres is a +1" as a counter to "Manu being a +2" is an ineffective argument, as usual by the thegreattroll

We lost a game. R-e-l-a-x and take a deep breath. The Spurs are coasting per par

Losing these winnable games should be enough to rekindle that fire we played with last season. Might need a couple more disappointing L's to get there, but it's only a matter of time b4 we do.

You don't expect assists from PATTY right? He only scores. Last regular season he averaged the spectacular 1,8 assists per game.

Manu's assists go way up when Patty is in the game to receive the pass and pop the ball into the net.

Selective as always...
Tony had a great game but ran out of gas... also contributed with 5 TOs...
Manu would've had the assist of the night by poking the ball back towards Kawhi at the end... unfortunately, Kawhi missed the game winner.
Without Ginobili the Spurs lose this game as bad as they did against Houston.
We get it. You hate Manu. But damn! Your perspective has been skewered beyond reason and logic (to try and pin this game on him)...

Have you seen the 8 threads blaming the L on Enrique? Our MVP who shot 61%, led the team in assists... While Manu contributed with 0 assists and 3 TO's

Their bad logic doesn't mean you have to counter with more bad logic...

Spurs could really use his tenacity and energy right now more then anything else. Patty is one of those guys where their energy is contagious and can ignite everyone around him much like Manu used to be when younger.
Spurs are a small spocket with lots of high end potential but they take a while to get up to speed.
